LIMITED WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY

1. LIMITED WARRANTY (30 DAYS – MANUFACTURER’S DEFECTS ONLY)

All products sold by HJ Waterjet, Inc. (“Company”) are covered by a limited thirty (30) day warranty against manufacturer’s defects in materials and workmanship, beginning on the date of delivery to the customer.

This warranty applies only to defects arising under normal use and service and does not cover damage resulting from:

• Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper installation

• Improper storage or handling

• Modification or alteration

• Normal wear and tear

• Corrosion, erosion, or environmental exposure

• Improper maintenance

• Use outside intended specifications

• Damage during return shipping

Warranty Remedy

The Company’s sole obligation and the customer’s exclusive remedy is:

• Replacement of the defective product, at Company’s sole discretion.

Refunds are not provided unless determined solely by the Company.

Replacement items will be shipped at no charge only if the defect is confirmed to be a manufacturer’s defect after inspection.

The Company reserves the right to require photographs, documentation, or testing prior to issuing a Return Material Authorization (RMA).

2. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To request a replacement under warranty:

1. Customer must notify the Company within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery.

2. Customer must obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) prior to return.

3. Product must be returned prepaid to the Company for inspection.

4. Product must be properly packaged to prevent shipping damage.

Failure to obtain an RMA prior to return may result in refusal of shipment.

The Company will inspect the returned product and notify the customer of its determination. If no manufacturer’s defect is found, the customer will be responsible for return shipping and handling costs.

RETURN POLICY

All returns require prior authorization and issuance of an RMA number.

Returns without an RMA will be refused.

3. STOCK MATERIAL – RETURNS FOR CUSTOMER CONVENIENCE

Returns for convenience (not warranty related) are subject to the following:

Material must:

• Be unused

• Be in original, undamaged packaging

• Be in re-salable, as-new condition

• Be of current design

• Include Company invoice number

A. No Restocking Fee (0%)

No restocking charge will apply only if ALL conditions are met:

• Material is received within thirty (30) days of shipment

• Original invoice number is provided

• Product is returned in original, unused, undamaged packaging

• Return shipment is properly packaged to prevent damage

B. 35% Restocking Fee

A minimum thirty-five percent (35%) restocking fee applies if:

• Material is received after thirty (30) days

• Invoice number is not provided

• Packaging is damaged or not original

• Product is not in as-new condition

• Return is improperly packaged

• Inspection reveals handling damage

The Company reserves the right to increase the restocking fee if the condition of the returned material reduces resale value.

Freight charges are non-refundable.

4. NON-STOCK OR DIRECT SHIP MATERIAL – RETURNS FOR CUSTOMER CONVENIENCE

Non-stock, special-order, or direct-ship material may be non-returnable.

Customer must contact Customer Service prior to return with:

• Item list

• Reason for return

• Company invoice number

If return is permitted:

• Minimum 35% restocking fee applies

• Additional vendor-imposed restocking fees apply

• All freight charges are the responsibility of the customer

Return eligibility is subject to manufacturer approval. If the vendor refuses the return, the material is non-returnable.

5. COMPANY ERROR

If an error was made by the Company (incorrect item shipped, quantity error, etc.), Customer Service must be notified within five (5) days of delivery.

The Company will, at its discretion:

• Replace the incorrect item

• Issue return instructions

• Provide a call tag if appropriate

Failure to notify within five (5) days constitutes acceptance.

6. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS (NON-COMPANY MANUFACTURED ITEMS)

Defective products manufactured by third parties are subject solely to the original manufacturer’s warranty.

The Company makes no independent warranty beyond what the manufacturer provides and will assist in processing warranty claims where applicable.

Warranty terms vary by supplier.

7. EXCLUSIONS – NON-RETURNABLE FOR CREDIT

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

A. Vendor refuses return
B. Cut-to-length materials
C. Custom-fabricated items
D. Modified products
E. Obsolete, discontinued, or close-out items
F. Fragile items broken after delivery
G. Materials not purchased from the Company
H. Non-stock items without invoice number
I. Special-order items
J. Electrical components once installed
K. Products showing signs of installation or use

The Company’s determination of return eligibility is final.

8. DEFINITION OF “RE-SALABLE CONDITION”

Re-salable condition means:

• In original manufacturer packaging

• All manuals and materials included

• No writing, labels, or stickers applied

• Not installed

• No visible damage

• No signs of wear

Inspection by Company personnel determines final condition status.

9. CREDIT PROCESSING

Approved credits will be issued within ten (10) business days after receipt and inspection of returned material.

Credit may be issued:

• To original form of payment

• As account credit (Company’s discretion)

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Company’s total liability under this policy shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

The Company shall not be liable for:

• Labor costs

• Removal or installation costs

• Downtime

• Lost profits

• Consequential or incidental damages

11. POLICY MODIFICATION

The Company reserves the right to modify this Warranty and Return Policy at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of sale shall govern the transaction.
