The HJ-007029-1 or HJ-100011-1 HP Biscuit Spacer —often referred to as a “plunger retainer”—is positioned between internal elements such as the piston biscuit and seal components, where it maintains exact spacing, alignment, and load distribution during operation.
Under extreme pressure cycling, even minor deviations in spacing can lead to seal deformation, uneven wear, and pressure instability. The biscuit spacer ensures that all components remain properly positioned and function as a unified system.
